Since 2024, h e r r m a u s e r has been regularly hosting workshops with varying thematic focuses at the intersection of avant-garde film art and artistic self-exploration. The workshop series combines experimental film practice with depth-psychological and creative approaches to self-exploration. Its aim is not only to introduce participants to new techniques and artistic methods, but also to open a space for engaging with themselves and their creative potential on a deeper, more personal level.

• film poems and poetry films
• working with and through text in film

The program is complemented by non-film-based workshops, such as:

• writing workshops
• working with wood
• art-therapeutic approaches to sculpture and plastic work

• the male and female gaze in cinema
